Eco-Explorer Camp is hosted under the licensed program of Let’s Create Children’s Art Studio, a beloved local center dedicated to nurturing creativity and confidence in children.
- Debi Buxton – Creative Arts Pioneer: Founder of Let’s Create, has taught creative arts since 1995. She holds a Child Development Associate credential and is a Certified Yoga Teacher with a deep belief in empowering kids through artistic exploration.
- Julene Gervais – Storyteller for Change: Brings a background in environmental storytelling and educational media, helping kids connect fun with impact.
- Erika Poppell - Lead Science FUN Director: With a Masters Degree in Biology and a Bachelor Degree in Global Studies, and Debi says a PHD in "Fun-Ology", she brings 15 years of teaching kids!
- Payton Hatch - Overnight Counselor & Supervisor of Fun: Straight from the Let's Create Children's Art Studio, she brings along her Bachelor's degree to the EcoExplorerCamp to keep the Fun-Factor turned up!
Together, they combine decades of experience in early childhood care, creative instruction, and sustainability education to give kids a camp that’s safe, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Eco-Explorer Camp:

University of New England, Biddeford, ME campus - located where the Saco River flows into the Atlantic Ocean
--- a hands-on, mission-driven overnight experience that gives kids the confidence, creativity, and community to have fun while they shape the future.

(Full Payment Due at Enrollment)
